Native apps also have access to hardware components within the phone. The camera, accelerometer, microphone, GPS, and more become available for use by the app. A GPS, check in, loyalty program is something you just can’t do with a mobile website; but the biggest advantage mobile apps have over mobile websites is something called push notifications. Push notification allow businesses to use the app to send messages directly to their customers. Unlike emails messages, push notifications have an extremely high open rate. People actually read them, and this one tool allow businesses to share all kinds of information with their customers, blog updates, RSS feeds, coupons, discounts, and specials.  But the real power lies in the ability to use them to ask questions and get instant customer feedback.  Think about it, if you were deciding what new product or service to offer your customers, wouldn’t it be great if you could just ask them what they want? Your mobile app actually helps you out with such conversion.  So apps help in increasing your customers or followers and also bring you more closely to them.
